The Night Navigator 8540 is a robust, all-weather system consisting of a Night Vision System and a powerful infrared xenon light. The Night Vision system incorporates a gated image intensified camera and high-speed lens to gather infrared light. During periods of extreme darkness, the infrared searchlight can be used to illuminate up to 2000 meters ahead of the vessel.

The Night Navigator 8540 is certified for the HSC Code 2000 by DNV, RINA, Greek Maritime Authorities, US Coast Guard, Hong Kong and China Maritime Authorities for:
