Job Summary:

We are seeking a hard-working, hands-on, and detail-oriented individual to join our Procurement team as a Material Flow Specialist. This is a full-time position based at our Port Coquitlam facility, offering a diverse range of responsibilities within the procurement department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring departmental operations run smoothly and on schedule by performing the following duties as needed:

• Preparing and issuing RFQs and purchase orders
• Creating production work orders and ensuring alignment with sales order requirements
• Managing RMAs in collaboration with the Quality Control department and Import/Export Coordinator
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels and resolving discrepancies as needed
• Issuing and kitting materials for work orders to meet customer sales requirements
• Conducting physical inventory counts and reconciling results with system-generated reports
• Receiving supplier shipments and accurately recording data in the inventory system
• Securely packaging and shipping completed systems and accessories to customers
• Organizing the inventory room and preparing space for incoming shipments

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

• Valid Canadian work permit, permanent resident status, or Canadian citizenship
• Basic computer proficiency, including internet browsers, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities 
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in shipping and receiving or inventory management is an asset
• Experience with ERP software is an asset

Salary Range:

 $50,000 to $60,000 

Start date:
