Job Summary
As a Product Testing Technician, you will join the Testing team and work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to build, test, and continuously improve our products. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Lead Testing Engineer. The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic product development and production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute standard operating procedures to validate and calibrate major components like infrared thermal cores, day cameras, and laser devices
- Conduct Production Test Reports (PTRs) to verify the functionality of systems integrated by Manufacturing
- Debug and resolve electronics and software issues across systems and subassemblies
- Assist with pre-assembling, configuration, and testing electronic circuit board stacks, cameras, lenses and payload subassemblies to ensure compliance with QC requirements
- Maintain and/or improve testing SOPs and equipment as part of the continuous improvement company goals and ISO 9001 quality management system compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Computer, Testing, or Mechatronics disciplines (or an equivalent combination of hands-on experience and education)
- 1+ years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing, product development or product testing environment
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and tasks
- Good oral and written English communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of precision and attention to detail
- Strong organization skills and a desire for a clean, organized workspace
- Passion for enabling others to excel in their job role and commitment to shared success
- Ability to bring creativity and positivity to problem-solving in high-pressure situations
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware and software, motors, and electronics
Annual Salary $50,0000 to $60,000
