Vancouver, BC – January 2026CURRENT Scientific Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Miller as Senior Business Development and Strategy (Middle East & North Africa), reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to growth and strategic partnerships across the region.

Dave officially begins his role at UMEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone in CURRENT’s continued international expansion and long-term commitment to the Middle East market.

With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience spanning defence, aerospace, and international government relations, Dave brings a unique combination of operational credibility, diplomatic insight, and commercial strategy. Most recently, he served as Canadian Defence Attaché across six MENA nations, where he acted as Canada’s senior military representative and worked closely with regional governments, defence organizations, and industry leaders.

In this role, Dave was responsible for advancing defence relationships, supporting operational missions, and facilitating international defence-industry partnerships — experience that directly supports CURRENT’s growing engagement with regional customers and partners.

Since transitioning to the private sector, Dave has led business development and strategic partnership initiatives for leading aerospace and defence organizations across North America, MENA, and the Indo-Pacific, including program leadership roles within the UAE.

“Dave’s leadership experience, regional knowledge, and trusted relationships make him a natural fit as we continue to expand our footprint in the Middle East,” said Greg Menzies, President of CURRENT. “His arrival builds on the momentum we’ve established in the region and strengthens our ability to support customers with long-term, mission-focused solutions.”

Dave will focus on strategic growth, partner development, and customer engagement across defence, security, and maritime markets in the MENA region, working closely with CURRENT’s global leadership and technical teams. He will be accompanying the team at the World Defense Show in Riyadh from February 8 to 12.

This appointment underscores CURRENT’s commitment to delivering Canadian-engineered EO/IR solutions tailored to regional operational needs.
